Course Title: 7th Grade Life Science

Course Description:

This class explores topics in Life Science from the level of a single cell to the biosphere.  

Major Projects: Fall: Human Body Systems; Winter: Natural Selection Research Project, Life Science Inquiry Task; Spring: Personal Ecological Impact Analysis

Course Title: Comparative Literature

Instructor: Annie Forman

 

Course Description:

This mission of this class is to instill a love of literature through group reading contemporary novels, and then comparing and contrasting the book with its film counterpart.  As an elective, all work is to be completed in class; no homework will be assigned.

Comparison Slideshow, Children's Book

This is a single-term class. Students will be enrolled for one term only.

Course Title: Broadway Spirit

Instructor: Annie Forman

Course Description:

This class was designed to create a sense of community at Broadway through the creation of locker signs for birthdays and participation in school activities.  Students in this class will create posters, signs, and help in preparing for monthly assemblies.  Grade is based on daily participation.  No homework will be assigned during this course.  

Major Projects:

Locker signs, hallway posters.
